Victorinox Farmer X Alox Damast Limited Edition 2024

If you want to stand out from the pack, it’s always a good idea to check the limited editions regularly put out by Victorinox. Take the new Farmer X Alox Damast Limited Edition, for example, which builds an elegant black and steel tone knife with an added touch of brilliance and a Damasteel folding blade.

The Farmer X Alox Damast Limited Edition takes the rugged and useful design of the Farmer X, with its serrated saw blade and screwdrivers, and elevates it with the Alox metal scales (with a color exclusively for 2024), which add additional durability and grip to the Swiss Army Knife. But the true star of the show is the 115-layer Damasteel blade that has a unique Hakkapella pattern with a hardness grade of 60 HRC, making it tougher than the standard SAK. What you get is a blade that looks as sharp as it can cut and a premium feel that’s a cut above the standard Farmer X, making it a great choice if you’re looking to add to your daily rotation. It’s limited to 7,000 sequentially numbered pieces worldwide so don’t wait too long if you want to get it.

The James Brand The Chapter 2 – Exclusive

A decade ago, The James Brand was launched with the release of the Chapter pocket knife, making waves in the EDC community and setting a new standard for pocket knife design and functionality. Building on the design of the original knife in an exclusive collaboration with Huckberry, TJB presents a redesigned Chapter 2 Pocket Knife in striking black and outdoor orange accents that serve both style and utility.

This Chapter 2 exclusive features a high-quality S35VN stainless steel blade, known for its exceptional durability and sharpness, and a lightweight titanium handle. At 6.45” in length, it strikes the perfect balance for everyday carry. Notable upgrades include a subtle curvature in the blade for precise cutting, a tip-up carry orientation for quicker access, and a fully machined titanium pocket clip for secure and convenient storage. The knife’s smooth folding mechanism ensures safe and effortless handling, while the Huckberry co-branded label adds a unique touch. The Chapter 2 pocket knife embodies a decade of TJB’s evolution, and seeing how far the brand has come in the past decade, we are beyond excited to see what the next decade holds.

Wuben X2Pro

Wuben has once again raised the bar with the X2Pro, a significant upgrade to their popular X2 model, designed to meet the needs of both outdoor enthusiasts and everyday users. This compact flashlight sports an impressive dual-mode main light featuring four LED groups that deliver an impressive 1,500 lumens. Its innovative composite lens system combines spotlight and floodlight capabilities, controlled by an intuitive rotary switch, ensuring you have the right type of illumination for any situation, and the included 400-lumen RGB side light further enhances the functionality of this flashlight, making it suitable for emergency signaling and navigation.

Crafted from high-quality materials, the X2Pro boasts a durable, ergonomic design. This flashlight is powered by replaceable 14500 batteries, with a unique parallel design that allows it to operate optimally, even with just one battery, ensuring you have light when you need it. It has two mechanical buttons—a toggle switch and rotary knob— for reliable, intuitive operation, a magnetic tail base for hands-free use, and compatibility with an ARC Guide Rail Buckle for helmet-mounting, perfect for industrial workers, firefighters, and outdoor enthusiasts. This flashlight also features an adjustable 20-degree tilt for optimal lighting angles and a robust back clip for portability. With Type-C fast charging and compatibility with AA batteries for flexibility, the Wuben X2Pro is a compact, reliable, and powerful tool, perfect for everyday carry, outdoor adventures, and tactical missions.

Thanks to an already funded and massively successful campaign, backers now also have the option to choose between RGB or a new 365nm, 2W UV option for the auxiliary side light, while still maintaining the original price of $39.99. There’s still plenty of time to back this extremely affordable but fully-packed flashlight, so check out the ongoing Kickstarter campaign at the link below.

CRKT Nucleus Frame Lock Knife

CPM MagnaCut is one of the most sought-after steels for EDC enthusiasts who demand the best out of their pocket knives, and CRKT incorporates it beautifully in their Nucleus Frame Lock Knife. Designed by custom knifemaker Princeton Wong, the Nucleus is inspired by the mecha robots from the Mobile Suit Gundam series, which is reflected in the knife’s futuristic design. The Nucleus weighs only 2.30 oz thanks partly to its titanium and carbon fiber handle, making it both strong and lightweight. It can be easily deployed in three different ways – using the front flipper, rear flipper, or the finger hole in the blade – thanks to its smooth IKBS ball-bearing pivot.

Besides its eye-catching aesthetics; the Nucleus is built for serious performance. Its frame lock utilizes a thick lock bar to ensure that the blade remains secure during rigorous use. The 3.23” blade, crafted from MagnaCut steel, offers best-in-class performance with exceptional toughness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The blade’s stonewashed finish and distinctive milling, along with the drilled holes for added flair, make this knife stand out in any collection. Available in additional material options such as 12C27 steel with a stainless steel handle and G10 overlay, the Nucleus caters to various preferences while maintaining its attractive design and functionality.

Skullcandy The Active Collection

Skullcandy’s active collection of sports earbuds is designed to endure sweat, water, dust, dirt, and the inevitable rough treatment that comes with an active lifestyle. The collection features three robust players: the Push ANC Active, Sesh ANC Active, and Push Play Active. Each earbud is crafted to meet the specific needs and budget of athletes and adventurers alike.

The Push ANC Active were designed for those who don’t hold back. These earbuds come with every feature you need, including comfortable, low-profile ear hangers, fully waterproof construction, adjustable Stay-Aware Mode, and 4-Mic Active Noise Canceling to keep you focused and in the zone. With 58 hours of total battery life and rapid charge capabilities, they are built to last through the longest workouts.

The Sesh ANC Active comes with a total battery life of 48 hours and fully waterproof construction, these earbuds are designed for all-day use. The Fit Grip design keeps them securely in place, whether you’re at home or on the move. Adjustable 4-Mic Active Noise Canceling helps you stay in the zone, and features like Google Fast Pair, multipoint pairing, and Spotify Tap enhance your experience when you’re not on the go. The Sesh ANC Active earbuds adapt seamlessly from high-energy activities to relaxation, making them the most versatile choice for those who do it all.

The Push Play Active earbuds cater to any active lifestyle, in any weather and any condition. They boast 34 hours of playtime and rapid charge, ensuring they keep up with you. With secure, low-profile ear hangers and an IP55 water and dust-resistant rating, these earbuds are built for durability. They handle sweat, rain, dusty trails, and occasional falls with ease. Flexible over-ear hangers ensure a comfortable fit, no matter how intense the session.

WE Knife Zizzit

Modern high-end knife designs all tend to feature premium durable steels hardened for excellent cutting potential and maximum sharpness. Their blade shapes are both an aesthetic and functional choice because they are one of the primary determinants of the overall ergonomic ease of use for the pocket knife. But designs that take the time to feature a compound edge on the blade itself are relatively rare. The new WE Knife ZIzzit flipper knife adds to this select few, with a special CPM-20CV blade that’s been optimized for your everyday carry needs.

Where most blades feature one style of blade grind, the We Knife Zizzit features a compound edge, with a hollow-ground belly and a flat ground tip for the blade. The combination drop point and spear point edge blade is a result of this design choice, which gives the belly increased slicing capability while enhancing the piercing performance and rigidity of the tip of the knife. The flat grind of the tip also makes it easier to touch up and repair independently in case of damage during regular use. With a 3.8” overall length, sturdy button lock, and titanium hardware, you’re going to find a lot of use for the We Knife Zizzit when you add it to your everyday carry loadout.

Colorful multi-tools just in time for summer, next-level knife designs, and more.

Leatherman Signal Guava

We’ve long been big fans of Leatherman and their handy and cleverly designed one-of-a-kind EDC multi-tools, and they’re ready to get your EDC summer-ready with a fresh Guava colorway for their outdoor-oriented Signal multi-tool. This compact marvel comes with 19 impressive tools and is incredibly durable, sporting a body built from DLC-coated stainless steel with a unique Cerakote finish to really make this new colorway pop.

The Leatherman Signal is the first compact multi-tool to feature a built-in ferro rod, hammer, and emergency whistle, and is an underrated performer as far as Leatherman’s catalog goes. Designed for one-handed use, it also includes an all-locking mechanism for secure handling and outside-accessible blades for quick tasks, with the rest of its functions tucked away inside. The Signal comes equipped with a 420HC combo knife, diamond sharpener, replaceable wire cutters, screwdrivers, and more. With its removable pocket clip, it’s perfect for any outdoor adventure. Whether you’re gearing up for a summer of excursions, shopping for someone special, or just really looking to brighten up your gear closet, now’s the best time to snag one for yourself. The Leatherman Signal is available at a 20% discount through July 31st, so get yours now.

The James Brand The Barnes

The James Brand continues to redefine the art of modern pocket knives with its latest offering, The Barnes. Crafted from a single billet of 6AL4V titanium, this frame-lock knife showcases a strong and elegant design language. It utilizes advanced CNC machining techniques that result in a sleek, solid handle (an integral, or single piece of titanium with a framelock cutout) that feels great to hold. At its heart lies a 3.5” drop-point blade made from Böhler M390 stainless steel, which is an ideal choice for EDC tasks that require high corrosion resistance.

The Barnes also features a machined 6AL4V titanium pocket clip, ensuring secure and discreet carry, and includes a paracord lanyard for added convenience. Each knife is presented in a premium gift box complete with a CNC wood insert, polishing cloth, and a collectible double-sided TJB coin that pays homage to the Clovis point—one of humanity’s earliest tools. Designed for right-handed, tip-up carry, and weighing a mere 4.6 oz, The Barnes combines practicality with an eye-catching design, making it the perfect tool for both everyday use and special occasions.

Vosteed Shark Bomb Prybar

This one’s for everyday carry enthusiasts who know they shouldn’t use their knives as prybars and need a bombproof alternative. The new Vosteed Shark Bomb looks like an old-school bomb, but there’s more to its retro shape. On the business end of the bomb is the pry wedge and nail puller, but this unique tool also offers a staple remover thanks to its curved hook at the tip. And, of course, no pocket everyday carry tool would be complete without a bottle opener, and the Vosteed Shark Bomb Prybar includes one.

With its integrated reversible wire clip, the Vosteed Shark Bomb Prybar can be carried like a pocket knife, ensuring you always have it on hand when needed. Vosteed also included a key ring to allow the Shark Bomb to be added to your keychain for carry convenience. The solid grade 5 titanium construction is as bombproof as the tool’s design inspiration, and the jimping and chamfered edge give you more control than a standard minimalist everyday carry prybar can offer.

CJRB Pyrite Light

The trend towards lightweight knives in everyday carry is welcome, but knives in that group tend to be smaller. That’s why we love the new CJRB Pyrite Light, which actually sizes up Artisan Cutlery’s time-tested Pyrite design from 3.11″ to 3.34″ while only adding 5 grams over the original. They also switched the handle from steel with G10 scales to a more efficient fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) design.

With the button lock built into the handle, the modified wharncliffe-style utility blade made of solid AR-RPM9 stainless steel locks into place securely. We like that this edition of the knife keeps the easy-to-sharpen flat ground blade geometry that lacks a bolster, making it very easy to touch up with a whetstone for maintenance. Better still, with the CJRB Pyrite Light, you get a smaller price, so it’s an easy pickup if you’re looking to switch up or add to your everyday carry rotation.

CRKT Fial

CRKT has partnered with Princeton Wong, an acclaimed custom knifemaker, to release the Fial Liner Lock knife. Inspired by Wong’s award-winning design from the 2021 Blade Show, the Fial features a 3.62” blade with a unique hidden wine tool, including a corkscrew and boot lever, tucked into the handle.

Available in two versions, the Fial Liner Lock offers a 12C27 steel blade with a bead blast finish and stainless steel handle for $113, and a luxurious Böhler M390 steel blade with a satin finish and titanium handle for $275. The knife measures 8.25” when open and 4.61-2” when closed, with weights ranging from 5.60 to 3.80 oz. Both models are equipped with CRKT’s renowned IKBS ball-bearing pivot system for smooth deployment and a liner lock for easy one-handed closure. With its blend of innovative design and practical features, the Fial Liner Lock is a versatile and stylish addition to any EDC collection.

This limited-edition Slingpack, made entirely in the USA, combines urban sophistication with rugged durability, sporting an exterior built from Challenge Sailcloth’s eco-friendly EPX400 fabric with a C0 DWR-coated 3-layered 400D polyester face, 45º CrossPly reinforcement, and a 70D ripstop backing. Craighill’s Sidewinder Knife Is a Serpentine-Inspired Kinetic Sculpture

Everyday carry folding knives tend to follow a straightforward mold. Looking at the market, you might start to think that there’s very little room for innovation. But if you take a look at a knife like the new Craighill Sidewinder, you begin to see some new ideas at play. The two-tone handle belies its unique deployment and locking mechanism. The two-piece handle features a unique interlocking design by Chen Chen and Kai Williams that turns heads and deserves a double-take.

The made-in-the-USA Craighill Sidewinder features a unique interlocking two-piece mechanical handle. In the closed position, separating the two flips the blade out of the handle. The two halves then come together and lock the blade into place. The blade also has a more traditional flipper index tab for even faster opening when needed. Once you have it open, the 12C27 stainless steel drop point blade is ready to get to work.

Redwood’s Can-Am Chronograph Revs up Your Wrist Game Through the Golden Era of Motorsports

The whole point of a watch is that it should tell the time. The whole point of a race is that the fastest competitor should win the event. Sometimes it can be hard to tell who won the race, especially when the competitors aren’t racing all at once. That’s one of the reasons why watchmakers developed the chronograph complication long ago. On a wristwatch. like the new Redwood Can-Am, you can use a chronograph to time events with precision. You also get a stunning timepiece on your wrist that adds aesthetic flair to your everyday carry.

The Redwood Can-Am features retro looks with modern touches. Its 40mm case size, suitable for larger wrists, is a departure from vintage styling. The Can-Am foregoes radioactive tritium lume in favor of Super-LumiNova in low light. The modern reliable 5 Hz Seiko VK64 quartz movement also keeps time better than old antiques, too. You can choose between a black dial, a black-and-white panda, and a silver-toned dial to suit your style. Each version of this tool watch has enough versatility to be your daily driver.

The James Brand Warrick Driver Covers Your EDC Bases, Bit by Bit

We love ourselves a slim pocket tool, and the James Brand delivers with their release of the Warrick Bit Driver. At just 3.5″, It’s a compact offering that packs an impressive array of features into its sleek, aluminum body. The Warrick comes with four of the most commonly used Wiha screwdriver bits, carefully selected to handle various tasks. The tool’s innovative torque drawer design allows you to swap out the bits for those that best suit your needs.

Whether you’re a professional, a DIY enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates having a reliable tool on hand, the Warrick Bit Driver Multi Tool’s combination of functionality and portability makes it a great addition to anyone’s EDC.

Kizer’s Militaw Is All About Smooth Action, Clean Lines, and Exceptional Fit and Finish

We’ve had our eyes on Kizer for a while now, and this new release continues to impress. Designed by knife maker Jonathan Styles, the Kizer Militaw (which means “hummingbird” in Mi’kmaq) embodies a minimalist and futuristic design, drawing inspiration from the hummingbird’s wing shape and tail tip. Its blade, crafted from S35VN steel, ensures peak sharpness, durability, and corrosion resistance, while its titanium and Micarta handle, complemented by a titanium 3D clip, marries comfort with utility, ensuring a secure grip and easy carry. At an ideal size of 7.99” in total length with a 3.35” blade, the Militaw perfectly balances compactness and usability.

A variant of the Militaw came out this year, introducing a treat of upgrades including bumping up the blade to S45VN in an incredibly unique polished DLC, swapping out the Micarta scales for Fat Carbon, all while keeping the price to a very reasonable $219 despite the combination of exceptional features, fit, and finish. Understandably, people took notice; it went fast both on Amazon and on Kizer’s site, but they are known to cycle back in popular production models when they can, so keep an eye out on Kizer’s socials to grab one for yourself.

SureFire’s Updated Stiletto Pro II is Brighter, Sleeker, and Stronger

The Stiletto Pro II boasts a dual optic LED system that delivers an impressive 35,000 candela for long-distance illumination. This beam intensity is complemented by a powerful 1,500-lumen output with a centralized beam pattern, which allows users to see farther into the dark while providing ample surrounding light for situational awareness.

This light sports multiple lighting modes, including High, Medium, Low, and Strobe modes, activated through the programmable primary switch or tactical tail switch and stays powered up with its integrated USB-C rechargeable lithium polymer battery. An LED Fuel Gauge allows you to keep track of the battery status, and the Melonite-coated, reversible spring steel pocket clip allows you to easily carry the Stiletto Pro II around, bezel-up or bevel-down.

Leatherman’s Skeletool CX and KB Get a Colorful Upgrade

The Skeletool CX has long been a favorite recommendation of ours for those looking for a pliers-based multi-tool but want to save a bit more space and bulk from Leatherman’s more feature-packed offerings. Even with full-sized pliers, a proven 154CM blade, and a bit driver to cover all your bases, it still weighs a comfortable 5 oz thanks to its namesake skeletonized frame, which you can conveniently hang off of your gear with its built-in carabiner.

If you want to save on space even more or want to pack light for the day with just an EDC knife, the Skeletool KB is a chip off the old block, and is the knife arm of the CX as an independent tool, with a locking 420HC blade and a bottle opener built into its clip.

Both tools are great for EDC and it’s the perfect time to add either to yours with the release of new colorways. The CX is now available in four new colors: Onyx, Nightshade, Verdant, and Paradise, and the KB knife is available in Nightshade, Verdant, and Paradise.

CIVIVI Unveils the Elementum Utility Knife

CIVIVI continues its trend of producing high-quality, value-for-money knives with the introduction of the Elementum Utility knife. The CIVIVI Elementum Utility seamlessly blends the timeless design of the popular Elementum series with the practicality and versatility of a utility blade, creating a tool that’s as stylish as it is functional.

It features a replaceable 2.26” 6Cr blade, with three additional blades included, ensuring that you’ll always have a sharp edge. Its stonewashed stainless steel holder provides a sturdy and durable platform for the blade. Vosteed Unveils the Heavy-Duty Hedgehog Knife

Compact folding knives are best for everyday carry because of their convenient size, but if you’re planning on taking on heavy-duty tasks with your daily driver you might want to carry something built stronger than the rest. That’s where sturdy knives with beefy spines like the new Hedgehog from the makers over at Vosteed come in handy. To get the most durability out of the 2.99” S35VN stainless steel blade on the Hedgehog, Vosteed fashioned it into a modified sheepsfoot utility shape with a markedly substantial spine that gives the knife more inherent strength when you’re chopping and cutting through rough material. Combined with the secure liner lock on the blade, you have a reliable folding knife that’s well-suited for heavy-duty everyday carry tasks.

That liner lock is also a unique aspect of the Vosteed Hedgehog folding knife. Unlike a traditional liner lock that required you to twist the blade and manipulate the steel liner, Vosteed integrated a tab built directly into the steel liner that protrudes through a small slit in the grippy blue GT-Mascus handle scales. This lets you operate the lock with a single hand, as if it was a button-style lock knife. That’s the kind of quality of life improvement that you might think is small, but you’ll come to really appreciate it once you get to work with the Vosteed Hedgehog folding knife in your hands.
